Wendy’s Country Lodge is set in a beautiful 4000 m² tropical garden in the peaceful Riverview just outside Mtubatuba in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
All year around you can relax in our garden and enjoy the abundant bird life, or take a swim in our heated swimming pool.
Our old colonial style home is decorated with historical collectables, antiques, Zulu craft and art, and rare orchids, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Each morning you can enjoy the included delicious English breakfast with tropical fruits. Other meals prepared by our chef, is a delight in our stylish restaurant.
If you want to enjoy good fellowship, then join us around Tony’s private bar.
Adjacent to Wendy’s Country Lodge you can find the Umfolozi Country Club that offers golf, tennis, squash, bowls and an excellent restaurant.
At Wendy’s Country Lodge we cater for both tourists exploring the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, as well as corporate guests needing peaceful and comfortable accommodation.
The iSimangaliso Wetland Park was until November 2007 known as The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park.
iSimangaliso is the Zulu word for Miracle.
